Introducing the Sterling Student Edition

This year, we joyfully commemorate 150 years since the first publication of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy—a book that has inspired healing and spiritual growth for generations. The impact of Christian Science has touched countless lives worldwide, strengthening families, uplifting communities, and bringing the healing presence of God into daily experience.

To honor this legacy, the Christian Science Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the release of the new Sterling Student Edition of Science and Health. Introduced at Annual Meeting this June, this edition embodies the message that each of us—through living the Christ and demonstrating Christian Science in our lives—becomes a “new edition” of these timeless teachings.

As Mary Baker Eddy reminds us:

“The Master’s injunction is, that we pray in secret and let our lives attest our sincerity” (Science and Health, p. 15)

A New Edition for a New Generation

The Sterling Student Edition is a beautifully designed, clothbound hardcover, thoughtfully crafted to support everyone engaged in the study and practice of Christian Science, especially students in Sunday School who are beginning their spiritual journey. Children, described in Science and Health as “the spiritual thoughts and representatives of Life, Truth, and Love” (p. 582), are central to the enduring healing legacy of this textbook.
